ASAPbio (Accelerating Science and Publication in biology) is a scientist-driven nonprofit working to drive open and innovative communication in the life sciences. We promote the productive use of preprints for research dissemination and transparent peer review and feedback on all research outputs..

On this occasion, ASAPbio has a very clear involvement in preprints, and with resources and awareness of the productive use of preprints.

DataCite is a leading global non-profit organisation that provides persistent identifiers (DOIs) for research data and other research outputs. Organizations within the research community join DataCite as members to be able to assign DOIs to all their research outputs. This way, their outputs become discoverable and associated metadata is made available to the community. DataCite then develops additional services to improve the DOI management experience, making it easier for our members to connect and share their DOIs with the broader research ecosystem and to assess the use of their DOIs within that ecosystem.

The OAPEN Foundation is a not-for-profit organisation based in the Netherlands, with its registered office at the National Library in The Hague. OAPEN is dedicated to open access, peer-reviewed books.

OAPEN’s goals are: 1) to build a branded collection of open access peer-reviewed titles; 2) to increase the visibility and retrievability of high-quality publications; 3) to promote open access book publishing.

ORCID, which stands for Open Researcher and Contributor ID, is a global, not-for-profit organization, strives to enable transparent and trustworthy connections between researchers, their contributions, and their affiliations by providing a unique, persistent identifier for individuals to use as they engage in research, scholarship, and innovation activities.

OpenAIRE is a Non-Profit Partnership to shift scholarly communication towards openness and transparency and facilitate innovative ways to communicate and monitor research.

Their priorities are: 1) Align policies, 2) Facilitate interoperability, 3) Link research, 4) Monitor Open Science, 5) Train for Open Science, 6) Build global bridges, 7) Facilitate open innovation

OpenCitations is an independent not-for-profit infrastructure organization for open scholarship dedicated to the publication of open bibliographic and citation data by the use of Semantic Web (Linked Data) technologies. It is also engaged in advocacy for open citations, particularly in its role as a key founding member of the Initiative for Open Citations (I4OC).

It complies with the FAIR data principles, and it complies with the recommendations of I4OC that citation data in particular should be structured, separable, and open.

PREreview's mission is to bring more equity and transparency to scholarly peer review by supporting and empowering communities of researchers, particularly those at early stages of their career and historically excluded, to review preprints in a process that is rewarding to them.

We design and develop open source infrastructure to enable constructive feedback to preprints at a point in time in which it is needed.

We provide opportunities for researchers to create meaningful collaborations and connections defeating cultural and geographical barriers.

The SciELO Network provides Open Access (OA) to the contents of scientific journals. The journals are organized into national and thematic collections. Each collection is managed by a nationally recognized scientific organization.

The SciELO Network collections are: Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Ecuador, Spain, Mexico, Paraguay, Peru, Portugal, Public Health, South Africa and Uruguay.

And in development are: West Indies and Venezuela.

In eScire, solutions that promote open access knowledge are addressed, promoting multi- and interdisciplinary projects that focus on having a complete picture of the areas of value and opportunity for each institution.

They are promoters of the use of free software and our work philosophy is strongly influenced by the fundamental concepts of Copyleft.
